Handmade soap, ready December 11, 2026
The first crop is soap.
Four cold-process bars made on the farm in Mead, Oklahoma, and mailed within the United States. Soap is the main product right now. Everything else is seasonal, and on a slower schedule: lavender propagated here, with young vegetable plants and fresh cut flowers planned for spring 2027. Plant pre-sales open January 2027.

Lavender from the farm
The lavender is propagated from plants grown here on the farm.
Spring vegetable starts
Young vegetable plants for your garden are planned, with a focus on tomatoes. Other crops and varieties will depend on what neighbors want to grow and what’s available in the January seed catalogs.
Fresh cut flowers
Fresh cut flowers are planned for spring 2027. The selection and availability will be posted as the season takes shape.

Laying the groundwork
The plan is to prepare the growing space, propagate plants and try small plantings of greens and herbs. This first season is learning what grows well here and what can be cared for well.

Plants and flowers
Vegetable starts, lavender and fresh cut flowers are the focus. What’s ready will be posted as the season develops. Pickup dates and planting advice will reflect the needs of each crop and the conditions at the time.

Planting advice that checks the weather first
Oklahoma keeps gardening interesting. Each plant sold here will come with plain-spoken growing notes. Planting advice will be checked against local soil temperatures and the forecast, because a date on the calendar is only part of the picture.
Room to grow
This year’s small plantings are a first step toward a market garden. Further ahead, a pecan orchard is a possibility.
